In the early part of the 1990’s the City of Goodyear consisted of acres of cotton fields. In 2009, it is a burgeoning, All American City. Among the new chain stores and franchises locating to Goodyear, are professionals and experts in varying fields who have chosen this community to work. One such company is ESTRELLA FAMILY MEDICAL.
A primary healthcare group, Estrella Family Medical began business in 2008 and has been growing steadily treating the whole family ever since.
Among the physicians on staff are: Evelyn Omana, M.D. Board Certified in Family Medicine, Raj Patel, M.D. Pediatrics, and Lourdes Jacobo, M.D. Pediatrics.
Dr. Omana practices Women’s Healthcare. Men’s Healthcare, Chronic Disease, and Geriatrics with an emphasis on Arthritis, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Depression, Incontinence, Menopause, Memory Loss, and more.
Overseeing the medical group is Bernard Goodman, M.H.A. Mr. Goodman has 34 years experience as a manager and consultant to hospitals and medical groups in operations management, finance, medical billing, and more. In the event of unforeseen problems, or disputes with insurance companies, Mr. Goodman is your advocate.
Within the mission of Estrella Family Medical is the concept of the entire medical staff achieving quality focused, cost effective, family-based health services with dignity and respect for all people without regard to culture or lifestyle, and to provide the information and support necessary to promote the patients’ participation in health care decisions.
Estrella Family Medical is affiliated with West Valley Hospital and Banner Estrella Medical Center.
EFM accepts all major insurance, including Medicare and TriCare, and is now accepting new patients and making appointments easily accessible to you.
